One of my favorite things about living in Cincinnati is how much is within a short drive. River towns, wineries, scenic parks, and places that actually feel like an escape — without all the planning and production of it. Just get in the car and go.

This month's Haus & Home blog rounds up some of the best summer day trips from Cincinnati. The kind of day where you see something new, eat somewhere good, and still make it home before dark.

And that last part — making it home — is honestly the part I think about most in my work. There is something about knowing your neighborhood, your street, and your corner of this city that makes every trip out of it a little sweeter. The right home base changes everything.
